Credit
Card Additional Help, some guidelines:
There seems to be alot of credit cards and credit card applications.
How do you tell them apart? What are the differences?
In
most cases, the credit cards with the lowest percentage rate are
the hardest to qualify for. Banks look for consumers with the best
credit history that are looking for a credit or debit card. This
is considered A credit to lenders. B and C credit will not qualify
for most Platinum and Titanium credit cards.
MasterCard
and VISA have similar sounding
credit cards.
A Gold card is usually considered an entry level
credit card. So is a Classic card. A silver card is next, or Platinum,
then comes Titanium which tends to be a program offered along the
same lines as a Platinum. At the top is the Signature card, one
of the best and one of the most difficult to qualify for. Here is
a more detailed list from each credit card. Rated from easiest to
qualify for to most difficult.
MasterCard:
Standard
Gold
Platinum

VISA:
Classic
Gold

Signature
With
a VISA credit card, all of the credit cards offered have about the
same features such as auto rental collision damage, zero liability,
etc. But with a VISA Signature card you get the following
features not found on any other VISA credit card:
Warranty Manager Service
Purchase Security
Travel Accident Insurance
Travel & Emergency Assistance Services
Visa Concierge Service
Premium Offers
Lost Luggage Reimbursement
Roadside Dispatch
Rewards Program
Year-End Summary Statement
Visa Dining Privileges
What
about Discover?
Classic
Gold
Miles
Platinum
Discover
cards are great alternatives to MasterCard and VISA credit cards.
Sometimes they are easier to qualify for than MasterCard or VISA.
They work exactly the same as a MasterCard or VISA as well. Credit
card consumers should take another look at Discover if they are
having a hard time getting qualified for a MasterCard or VISA credit
card.
